Your privacy

Your account details, like your email. What you buy or sell. Your shipping name and address for orders. Basic activity, so the site works and stays safe.

We do not keep your card number. Payments run through Stripe, which meets the card industry's security rules.

We do not keep your password either. Signing in is handled by a provider, so we never see it.

To run your account, take orders, ship items, pay sellers, stop fraud, and show you products and stores that fit your activity.

The companies we use for sign-in, payment, shipping, storage, email, and site safety see only the information they need to do that job. Buyers and sellers see only what they need to finish a sale, like a shipping address. We never sell your information.

Rukata uses automated software, including AI, to help run the marketplace. It sets prices and marks items down, ranks and recommends listings, checks uploads for banned content, and writes optional wording a seller can accept or edit. It works on listing and pricing information. It never touches your card details or your password, our payment and sign-in providers handle those. It does not make the final call on your account, your money, or a refund without a person involved where it matters.

Voice control is optional. When you speak a command, your browser turns the words into text, and that text stays on your device to run the command. Rukata never gets, records, or keeps your audio.

If you live in California, you can ask what automated systems we use on you, and you can ask for a person to review a decision that affects you. Email us at hello@rukata.store.

Your connection to Rukata is encrypted. What we keep is stored encrypted too, so it cannot be read if someone got hold of it. Card numbers go straight to Stripe and never sit on Rukata. A sign-in provider handles signing in, so we never see or hold your password.

We check that it is really you before showing your account, your orders, or your payouts.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we keep about you. We have to hold on to some order and payment records for fraud, tax, and legal reasons. Once that is over, we delete them or strip out anything that identifies you.

If you live in California, you can ask what personal information we hold, ask us to delete it, and ask us to correct it. Using those rights does not change how we treat you. Rukata does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email us at hello@rukata.store.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. We do not use advertising cookies.
