I’ve sold Pokémon cards as well as other things for the past 14 years to survive since I’ve been on my own since 19. The only way for me to compete against established sellers was developing a business model years ago. I would look at MSRP vs market prices and I would purposely undercut the established sellers while also making sure my packaging, communication, and shipping speed was 10x better than anyone else. I gained customers rapidly like this.
I’ve gotten reviews you could run a car over my box and it wouldn’t damage the card inside. I did this for every card, expensive or not, because everyone deserved the same quality.
If a pack was $6 normally, and people were charging $12, I would only charge $8, because profit was profit to me, and to me it was more important to have a good heart and an honest business model. It wasn’t about hustling my customers. It was so they could use that extra money on other things. I’ve endured difficult times on my own, so I know that extra money could have helped someone.
I am applying that same business model to Rukata. Undercut other competitors while making a platform that is 10x better and faster than any other platform, while giving you a good deal. I plan to have an open chat server to be able to communicate with my users for fixing bugs, or building new features. Thank you for your time.
